I had never taken a ferry ride all these years living in the bay area and yesterday's ride experience was great! Nice to see the bay from rhe top deck. I think this is how I'm going to c rhe city from BOW on.

Who doesn't love a ferry??? I certainly do! This spot is also a wonderful place to park your car, use the (typically well maintained) restroom, and then walk or bike along the shore. It's a lovely, family friendly area and everyone seems cool while relaxing in the sun, having a picnic in the grass, and/or soaking up the views.

Nice view and walking trails but no fishing from the pier. Ferry use only, even after hours of operation.
