Father Gray is amazing!!! I immigrated from Russia in 1997 and gave birth to my two boys in 2006 and 2008. Russian Orthodox Church refused to baptized them because my husband and I were not devoted church goers. Catholic Church refused to baptized them for the exactly same reason. Everything was too complicated, too rigid, and too strict. No one would give my kids a chance to start their own journeys with God. Then we found Father Gray. I never knew much about the Protestant religion. We don’t have it in Russia. At least, I was not familiar with it. It makes the most common sense to me. There are no strict rules. It’s all about love and acceptance. I couldn’t have wished a better religion for my children. Both of my children were baptized by Father Gray in the open ocean. Thank you Father Gray for making this so much fun and for the gift of first ever bibles for my children. When I reached out to Father Gray to thank him and to explain why I was so thankful (aka refusal for other priests to baptize my children), this is what he said (I hope he forgives me for sharing this!): “Thank you for such kind words. At the end of the day, Jesus came out of love to save people, not programs or policy or institutions. And the way Jesus shows us grace changes everything! I apologize for my Christian brothers who would not share that grace with you and your sons. The grace is Jesus’ to give, so we try to give as Jesus would give...with open hands, open arms, and joy :D I pray God’s richest blessings for you and your family!” So, if you truly looking for a great church and an amazing priest, look no further. After I posted baptism photos online, everyone calls Father Gray a Rockstar! ️
