Have to admit that I'd avoided eating at The Fishery for years, but good things seem to be happening there now. I followed the new chef's recommendation, found the scallops as fresh as promised and grilled perfectly. My side of cole slaw was also fresh and exactly the way I like it, with just enough, but not too much, mayo. Mango vinaigrette was sweet, but not too sweet, though the iceberg side salad itself was a little boring. The warm, crusty loaf of bread, however, was totally addictive. If you've been staying away, too, it's time to come back to The Fishery, its view, and its shops. The whole setting is Old Florida charming, just the way Placida used to be.
I love seafood, and you can't go wrong with the fresh catch of he day.
Food is tasty but pricey. The restaurant is a little out of the way place with old Florida charm.
Laid back place to grab a bite and listen to some music outside or inside with a water view and Pier to walk on where you will occasionally see manatee or dolphin.
Off the main road but worth the trip
Delicious. Fish & Chips were outstanding. Rum Runners were fantastic . Diane made our dinner time truly enjoyable.
Was so excited to have found this quirky quaint little spot. It's off the Beaten Track! They have big picture windows overlooking the water. Went and sat there for almost 20 minutes nobody even came to greet us. The least expensive things on the menu was fish and chips for 18 and the burgers were 16. Those prices are ridiculous, the restaurant is okay location, but not those prices. Was planning on going here for a while but my poor experience caused me to leave before I even ordered food. The prices and the service was terrible. Would love the opportunity to come back. But couldn't even find anyone to help us.
