Do not give them money till you shop around! There are more home stores with inventory that you can buy. Do not rush to this choice because there's no going back. Feeling bad about putting our 1,000 \good will\ money down now stuck waiting with no option. Shop around.

This review does not apply to Tim McKnight. He was the salesman for my manufactured home and went above and beyond. It is regarding Bryant Moss the manager. Untrustworthy. I purchased a lot from Oakwood Homes on new property in Hendersonville, NC. 6 lots total on the land. The drainage was poorly done next to road going in which was made for 4 of the homes. The ditch was never completed which forced water into a culvert to the left of my property which floods the land in heavy rains from the water draining backwards from the ditch which is suppose to drain to the road. . Mr. Moss has contacted me twice (once by E-mail before I closed) and again in March 2019 saying the drainage would be fixed. Never heard from him again. At closing 8/2018 I was told the drainage would be fixed after the last home was installed.. I was also told by Cass, another character who works for Oakwood Homes at closing that there was \ 7 loads of rock still allotted to the land\) His words. Never saw that rock. A word of advice, before closing with Oakwood homes in Fletcher, if anything needs to be completed, get it in writing otherwise once they have their money, they are done. Oral conversation means nothing to mnagment.
This place is outstanding. They really make home buying easy and worth doing. Joshua and Bryant are really great men. They went above and beyond to make my home buying great. It was like buying a home from a family member always made me and my family feel welcome. All in all these guys are not just salesmen they are part of my family. That's just what I know about these 2 men but the whole team was great. Thanks guys .
First, let me just put it out there that I have been, hired, taught, and directed many sales people and sales teams in my life. When it comes to a salesperson, I have exceptionally high standards and expectations. Joshua McDonald at Oakwood Homes of Fletcher, along with the rest of his team, is the gold standard when it comes to honesty, reliability, and really just amazing customer service. This man not only helped us realize our dream of becoming first time home owners, he made it easy. He made it fun. He went on an adventure with us and made sure we got to the other side. In the midst of a global pandemic, complete with supply chain shortages and the joy of getting permits and inspections when many local agencies had slowed down or altogether closed up shop, Joshua held our hands and made sure we never once had to worry. Every single person we came into contact with on this team knew what they were doing and didn’t let anything stop them from taking care of us. If we had the chance to do everything over again, even knowing that we would be going through this process in the middle of a pandemic, a supply shortage, and a recession, we would absolutely and without a single doubt put our faith in Joshua McDonald and his team at Oakwood Homes all over again. This has been and continues to be what every home buying experience ought to be. We love these folks and we consider them to be a part of our family now.
