The store is very dirty, roaches everywhere, messy, and smells bad. The animals don’t live well and they aren’t well cared for. They don’t offer guarantees for any of their pets, which is a huge red flag. It’s a shame a place like this is open. To top it off, horrible customer service. This place needs to be shut down. Please do not buy from here.

Forever pets has a very wide selection of fish, rodents, and reptiles. It has definetly geared itself to more the non-standard pet. Along those lines, the place is very sparse in the conventional dog and cat options. Overall, loved the selection, a few of the fish tanks could have been more clean
Love this place, got hamster two pairs (girl and boy), four weeks later my female was prego, she had three little babies. I couldn’t handle taking care of them anymore and sadly had to return them. The pet store here took them back willing. Two years later went in to get a ferret, still have the ferret today he is wonderful. At first he was aggressive but with time he became more lovable. The staff here educated me and my daughter on the do and don’t. They are informative with their pets they sell.
Good selection of toys, treats, and all sorts of stuff for pets. I like shopping at any other place rather than the big commercial pet stores and totally like supporting this local business. The only pet store in San Antonio I would go to.
Roachs in the small animal area. Bunny kept hopping a way from them. Gross! We were going make a purchase, we left.
