Fork Union Animal Clinic has been my go-to vet for the last two years and will remain our vet so long as we live in the area. Their level of care, empathy, and love for animals is amazing. When I was nervously flying with my dog to Portugal, they did everything they could to make the appointment, paperwork preparation, and expectation-setting for the USDA as seamless as possible. When they discovered a heart murmur in my dog, their empathy, detailed explanations, and succinct recommendations for the next steps were very appreciated. And their everyday, standard care is incredible too. I live on a farm nearby, and all the domestic animals on the farm are seen by Fork Union veterinarians—for good reason. This is a clinic with heart, expertise, and soul.

I think the world of the staff and my veterinarian at Fork Union Animal Clinic. Their kindness and patience with their patients, who are not always on their “best behavior” when going to the vet, is amazing. They are thorough, gentle, and good listeners. They communicate their findings, recommendations, treatment alternatives and costs clearly. They don’t hesitate to refer clients if specialized diagnostics or treatments are needed. They always follow up with a call to see how your pet is doing the next day. They’re wholehearted in their concern and care for their clients. I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else.
