Very relaxing and so much fun to watch the trains go around. Great for kids especially those that are into trains. Probably the biggest model train exhibit I’ve ever seen and from what I read the biggest in the Midwest. They say they’re going to tear down the community center and hopefully they move the trains somewhere new if that does end up happening. One of Chicago’s hidden gems.

Took my young son there this evening, and he had a blast. The club members were extremely nice and understanding of him. He is too young to participate (3) - I think best geared to, say 8yo - BUT we were able to watch the trains from all different angles and locations, and he had a ball.
