I bought a couple slide in refrigerated bodies from Gaylord's (Jack Frost Brand) and a couple refrigerated trailers. Both use cold plate technology to maintain temperature. They are great for out of town events and hot-shot deliveries around town. We had a bad experience with another refrigerated trailer vendor, and have been very thankful to Jack Frost because of the superior construction, insulation, and refrigeration technology of their product. We open and close the doors to our trailers up to 200x per day getting in and out with frozen products for our customers at out of town events. The trailers stay sub-zero the whole time and keep our products in great condition. The slide in bodies for deliveries are plugged in over night to charge and can run all day with dozens of deliveries on the schedule and keep sub-zero temperatures until the end of the day without having to be connected to electricity! The construction, durability, and seamless design of all 4 products purchased (2 truck bodies and 2 trailers) is impressive and far superior to other competitor's models that we have looked at and purchased in the past. One minor glitch at the very start, when we first got our trailers, the trailers weren't calibrated to the correct settings in order to not fault out when first powered up (110 degree heat outside when we got them) due to the extreme Texas heat, so the compressors would shut down when plugged in. One phone call to Bill at Jack Frost and he had a tech out to me the next day to re calibrate to appropriate settings for Texas heat, and we haven't had a problem since! Excellent product and excellent customer service! Thanks Bill and thanks Jack Frost Freezers!

Gaylord's was sold and moved the business to Las Vegas. No communication with people placing deposits for tonneau covers. Calls not answered. Voice mail box full.

Avoid. We ordered a fibreglass bed cover for a truck build. They sent us the completely wrong cover. Charlie made a deal that if we repack the wrong item we were sent (it's a substantial wooden box that took a few hours and a trip to Home Depot. Keep in mind that I'm unable to work on the build while I'm doing this), then they'd reimburse the freight charge, and have the correct lid sent to us ASAP. After the wrong lid was picked up by their freight company, they went silent. Would not answer the phone. I had to keep calling from different phones to get them to answer. The correct lid didn't show up for ages, leaving us hanging. It took us a couple of months of constantly calling them to get our shipping refunded. Lesson learned; buy elsewhere. Oh, I nearly forgot! When I asked to speak to Charlie's boss, he told me that Lisa, (She had previously told me she is in administration) was his boss. Something there smells.

Dropped off my truck for them to install their new bed lid. I liked the solid construction and the way the hinge operated and its constuction. Went to pick up truck and found a couple small runs at the rear of lids vertical side. Guy tells me to come back on so and so date and he'll have a new one made by then and switch them out. I return and the guy sends his worker to go get the lid at a certain location in shop. Worker comes back saying it had been sold. Guy tells worker to get the one at another location in the shop. Worker exclaims " That one!? Guy says "yeh whats wrong with that one?" Worker looked like he knew something about that lid and was also hesitant which always gave me a sense that this lid was a repaired one. It looked fine and functioned well but the paint only lasted two years. Looks like a black chalkboard. The lid is a good lid and hinge is good also but paint quality sucks although it looks good when new. Lost one star for paint and another for raising my suspicions on it being new.
