I usually stop here after dropping off of picking up in Chicago land. The 7/11 staff are usually very kind and get you cashed out quickly. The grill is usually on point and the lady that is usually cooking is good at what she does. This was not the case last night 2/24. The cashier was rude and grill was not taking orders. I won’t judge this place on one bad experience though. It’s usually a good quick stop.

Not the big rest area what have seen till today but good enough for buy and eat. There is outside seating area to eat your own food. Has gas station next to it. Its both side of road so no matter which side you come from you will get similar experience. Rest my pics will speak for themselves

So it was clean but they advertise a safe travel stop. HA! Some amish women stopped in without masks and someone working there initially stopped them. I didn't hear what was said but they kind of shrugged at her and she said 'okay just make it quick' and let them use the restroom.

COVID: Stop elsewhere if possible. This is only a 7/11 convenience store with extra-large restrooms in the back. Getting to them involves making your way through the usual crowded aisles of merchandise: The company hasn't made any concessions to the pandemic. Several unmasked customers.

It is just about the only available resting spot in the area for travelers to relax and purchase refreshments as needed.
