I called George's Salvage on a Monday afternoon, looking to have a car towed off my property before an impending storm. I spoke with someone who told me they'd be able to remove it the next day, Tuesday. The storm was going to hit on Wednesday. He quoted me a fair price for the car. The next day I called a few minutes before they opened to leave a message confirming the pick up, and I got the gentleman on the phone, and not only were they coming for my car that day, but the tow truck would be at my home first thing in the morning! After work I came home to find my driveway empty, and not a check but cash waiting for me in an envelope. Courteous, prompt and professional - I have a new metal company I intend to deal with, and so should everyone who reads this review. 5 star service!

I always bring my scrap to George's and I love to watch the machines at work! It's fascinating and would make a great reality TV show.
Been bringing odd and end scrap here for 10 years whenever I have some accumulated. Very honest and helpful in making sure scrap is sorted correctly, prices are always on the higher end, if not higher than other local yards. Sure, there can be lines at times, and it can get hectic, but that's to be expected with a successful business. I will happily continue bringing my scrap to George's.
