I was required by one hospital to take an ambulance to another, during an emergency medical situation. This company absolutely refused, on any level, to be paid. We called them tens of times at a range of different hours over the course of months. We wrote them letters and emails with the insurance information they needed. They simply would not bill my insurance, at all, for any reason. Then they sent the account to collections. I would assume, if this is a real business, that it would be in their best interest to take payment? Seriously shady.
