Have some really good friends that live here. We use to live here also.

Not a bad place to live only problem is getting out of the park and parking on the side of the road is a big no just because of how bad the traffic is

Some good and some negative remarks. First, it's very centrally located, the managers are nice, the place older, but very clean and well maintained, there is a nice swimming pool, and rates are reasonable. The residents here are a combination of permanent residents living in park models, with some in RVs, and the rest are in RVs staying for shorter periods of time. Many of the long term residents are clannish. We ran into a situation with our dogs that made things hard. There is a weight limit exclusion on dogs of which we were unaware until we arrived (a drive of 1100 miles). No mention was made of this when we booked our reservation, no mention of this is made on the internet advertisements, and there are no published rules regarding pets. The weight limit is 35#. One of our dogs is a 55# Lab. When we arrived the managers were willing to let us stay through the duration of our reservation. However; a number of residents felt it necessary to continually remind us of the unwritten rule. One resident complained to the managers that our dog lunged at her. The dog was tethered and was 45 feet away from the woman. The next day the woman made a vicious dog complaint to animal control. The complaint was investigated by animal control and determined to be a non-issue. As a result of the complaint the managers placed some restrictions on the Lab which prohibited us from allowing her outside the motor home, even when on a leash. This was a topper for us and we've decided to leave.
