I requested an appointment via their website and received the auto reply that someone from the office would contact me shortly to confirm the appointment. No one called, and after a few hours I called the office because I really wanted to know if I could be seen at the time their website said I could. I was told that the appointment was no longer available. I asked about scheduling a different appointment while I had them on the phone. The person took my information and said someone else would call me to schedule. No one ever called. This would have been my first appointment here. The Google reviews were encouraging. But apparently they don’t believe in customer service...or actually scheduling appointments.

I had my first appt with Dr. A after multiple attempts of trying to find a good GI dr. I did wait around 3 months to actually be seen as a new patient but she was worth the wait. She is caring and actually wants to help find the answers to my problems I’ve been having! She was very knowledgeable and set me up with a plan to find some answers. I would highly recommend.

My visit with SW Gastroenterology Center, headed by Dr. Anaparthy was a pleasant first time visit. Primarily because of the service oriented staff at the incoming window expertly handling their business in taking care of new and existing patients. The staff was very helpful and friendly despite being busy. Most importantly my first time visit with Dr Anaparthy was enjoyable in the sense that she never made me feel like she was just \fitting me in\ or in a rush like I have felt with other health professionals . In fact , she made me feel like I was her only patient for the day. Sincerely, Mr Anthony Stephens

My husband has had stomach issues plaguing him for over 4 years. We have gone to several different doctors and specialists to try and figure it what is wrong. Some thought it was H Pylori, some thought it was extreme seasonal allergies, some thought it might be ulcers or cancer related. It is none of these. I called this office to schedule an appointment back in December. They told me the soonest available was in March, but said we could be put on a waiting list for any cancellations. We got a call that seemed like a blessing that an appointment was available in February, still 2 months out, but a month sooner that the original March appointment. I had explained the different specialists we went to and my husband signed waivers for releases of his medical records so tests wouldn’t have to be duplicated. The afternoon before his new appt, a lady named Diane called to confirm his appointment. She also told him they had not received any of his medical records and his appointment would be cancelled if they didn’t receive the records with the less than 24 hour timeframe, an impossibility. When they had two months they could have called a week in advance a few days in advance to let us know those records had not been received. She was rude, condescending, and just plain unprofessional. How can this type of person be the gatekeeper to the doctors’ office. So extremely hurt and disappointed. Now my husband has to suffer this unknown illness through March, which was the soonest appointment we could get scheduled for another gastroenterologist. Who treats people suffering with such lack of empathy? Thanks Diane.
