Captain D's definitely holds a place in my dining rotation. I prefer to dine in when ever I visit. I believe they give you bigger portions than if you were to use the drive through. The self serve condiment station is always stocked and I am glad they went back the plastic utensils. They gave that silverware a good run though.

I admit that I am a fast food afficionado. I like the taste of deep fried stuff. This particular Captain D's is looking a little worse for the wear. It is still super clean, but it looks like it was built in 198something. Which it was. The food is what you expect when you go to Captain D's, which is to say deliciously fried. The staff are friendly and skilled at handling a wide variety of people.
I use to love coming here but it's gone downhill. The drive thru wait is longer than what it should be and the staff seems lazy. The last order we received in the drive thru, after sitting there for 40 minutes, was awful. The chicken tenders looked more like nuggets, the fries were raw so we had to cook them in our oven. The tartar sauce was in a cup, which was odd but could be overlooked, and the green beans weren't filled up. We also received an excess amount of cuttlery which we did not ask for which seemed wasteful. After emailing the manager he at gave us a refund but we won't be coming back here for a long time.
Excellent ice tea, decent meals. Staff has always been very friendly, but most importantly, the restaurant is always clean.
Food is always fresh at this restaurant. I stopped eating Captain D's for years because my food wasn't fresh and the fries were always cold. When I moved to this area, I was happy to see management that pays attention and focuses on good food. That's the only explanation I have for the difference. The drive through is not super fast, but the food is better. I'd rather wait.
