The staff was super friendly and as busy as they were with the amount of staff on hand, they worked really hard with a smile on their faces. Very patient, knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend this place.

This establishment went above and beyond for my family. I can not recommend them enough! They were extremely friendly, and continuously came to help my family identify gems while “mining”, as well as giving us brief information about the gems. The employees also gave my son plenty of free ones as well. At the end of mining they will sort all of the gems you find, this is where you can also allow them to turn them into jewelry so if you choose. If I return to this area I will certainly return to this location.
The place was awesome the environment was inviting and the guy and the dog running were really knowledgeable of what he was doing ill definitely be going back and it seems like it would be a nice place to take kids
This gem mine is a RIP OFF! I am the owner of a gemstone business myself and came here woth a group of 8 people! We split a 106 bucket and found a total of 18 stones all together and some of us found nothing but mud and gravel. When we approached the staff on the mine side they were wonderful and very understanding. They sent us to the jewelry shop (part of the mine) to speak to the owner. He was VERY passive aggressive and seemed desperate for money and like our experience didn’t matter! Experience and first impressions are everything. Stones carry energy and the owner of this place is not a nice man. Over priced everything and no return. We will NEVER come here again! Happy to announce we did make out perfectly well at another mine down the road happy day y’all don’t waste your money here!
Anyone going here needs to understand it's a tourist attraction, that said, my 4 kids had a blast! We got 2 large 100ish buckets for our 4 kids to share. They LOVED going through and sifting the dirt to find their newly loved treasures. Super amazing gentlemen identified all the kids stones and was great with them! I would recommend as an activity if you're into gems or great for the kids!
