I was selling a piece of property and signed a contract on June 23rd with a closing date of July 27th. I received a call from heritage title on July 26th to set up a closing date of August 14th and was told \there is no way we're going to meet the that deadline\ I advised that I was going to be out of town on the August 14th and could not make it that day, she told me I could come in on the 11th and sign all of my part of the paperwork with no problems. I was told closing would be completed on the 14th at 3:30 in the afternoon when the buyers closed she would wire transfer the money to my account. she also stated she would call me when the funds were sent. She also advised me that as late in the day the closing was scheduled the funds probably would not be available until Monday morning. Monday morning came and went with no funds deposited, I reached out to heritage title at 1:30 p.m. and question is there a problem, I was told then no no problem you're on the docket to have the money wired to you to day and I will call you when it's done. I didn't receive the money on Monday and I didn't receive a call as I was promised. I am shocked that a business has np follow through when they are not able to meet a deadline.to call on Friday I was promised to call. It's now Tuesday no funds, no call, no answer when I called, no concern, and no care. I'm not sure how other people do business but when you give your word you follow through even if you are unable to do what you said you were going to do you reach out you let someone know.
