My granddaughter purchased a halter for ranch bronc riding from Hickman. After just a few rides the halter broke during a ride. She tore her shoulder badly enough to ground her for awhile. Could have been killed! Their response? Sorry, no refunds. We can replace it if you want. That is NOT okay.

I've been looking for a pair of quality suspenders, I was recommended to go to Hickman from a family member..I walked into the saddlery for the first time and was aww struck. The beautiful saddles throughout the store, the smell of leather, I can go on and on...Bob (the owner) greeted me like he knew me forever. He measured my size like a professional tailor. Showed me plenty of options. Bob engaged in wonderful conversation while sewing my new leather suspenders..I've never worn a set of suspenders before, so he taught my wife and I how to put them on. I can't wait to go to the saddlery again even if just to browse. The price was exemplary for the product, would give an extra star if I could.

I took my saddle in to have the cap repaired and get a new strap. It took over 2 months for the repairs and when I received my saddle back, the cap was repaired with matching leather but they wrapped the saddle horn with red leather, and the strap was the same red color. I was so unhappy I will never return, not even to see if they will fix it right! It looks horrible!
