There was an identifiable place to park. We were able to park just down the road over between a fence and a sidewalk. C landmark details were nice but we were left with a lot of questions as to what the pillars nearby were for.

Beautiful old place where in 1940 a train was connecting Dallas with the suburban areas.

This interurban bridge, also known as the Trinity Heights Trustle, was a reinforced concrete bridge with 24 slab spans supported by concrete columns built in 1913. This bridge is one example of the type of engineering structures constructed during the early 1900's as a vital form of growth for Dallas. The bridge was eligible for listing in the National Registrar of Historic Places in 1990. The part of the bridge crossing Clarendon was deemed unstable and unsafe for passing cars and removed in 2014. The rest of the bridge is still visible from the road.

This is just one of many places in the Dallas area where these Texas Electric Railway remnants still exist. This is the only one that I know of with information to explain their use.
