I’ve been using this company for 5 years, they have always treated me like family. My fish gets cut the way I like it, vacuum sealed to last until it’s consumed. I fly about 150lbs home each time and never have any spoilage! I fish with D&G Charters.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! We hired Maverick Charters who recommended Homer fish processing. Because of this recommendation I did not do my due diligence as I should have. But hopefully this review will help others not make the same mistake I did by using this dishonest company. Here is my complaint. We caught 4 nice halibut, 9 salmon and 8 Rock fish. The boat captain filleted all of them on his boat as we watched. Homer fish processing showed up at the dock and picked up our fish. We picked up the fish the next day and paid for 107.5 pounds of fish. I was told that we could only get 46 lbs of fish in a 50 lb box, I told the lady at the desk that was fine that I had a cooler for the 15.5 lbs that would not fit. After I paid I went next door to load fish and it was already boxed up and there was only 1-9 oz package of halibut that was not packed into the box's. I asked where the rest was and was told that was all!! I went back to the office where I paid and asked where the rest of my fish was and the lady told me that I lost that much to waste??? To make matters even worse when I checked the luggage at the airport the box's only weighed 45 lbs ea. When I got home I weighed the box's and they only weighed 3 lbs ea. The bottom line is they stole 20 plus pounds of fish from me. BEWARE!

We used Homer Fish Processing to process our fish after a commercial fishing trip. We had a mix up with our fish and they went above and beyond to make it right. I would not hesitate to use this business again.
We used Homer Fish Processing to process our fish after a Halibut fishing trip. We also included a lot of raw and smoked sockeye we had personally processed. They had a mix up with our fish and sent us someone else's catch. This seems to be an ongoing problem for them. Then when they did send our fish it got suspended in the UPS cosmos for days through no fault of their own. However, they went above and beyond to make it right. If they screw up or even if it wasn't their fault this place will make it right for you! I would not hesitate to use this business again.
Would give ZERO stars if possible. I dropped off 56 lbs of halibut fillets fresh out of the water. ONE of my fish alone was 77lbs on the boat before it was cut. Aside from just that one alone, I dropped off 3 additional fish. Both of my unders were right in the line, and both my overs were over 60lbs. I left them with a cooler FULL of fillet only to get back half a cooler of processed fish. I dropped off 56lbs in cut fish, and received back 34.1lbs. When trying to understand what went wrong - finally got in touch with the owners- I basically was told I was lying and that they would not fix this at all. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. Wish I read the reviews first. Someone in their facility is stealing fish from people, and when they get called on it the owners turn a blind eye. Wonder where all that halibut they’re selling in the fridge in their lobby is coming from? Unsuspecting folks like myself. This is so wrong on so many levels. This fish was to feed my household for the year and they stole it from me. You guys should be F*****G ashamed of yourselves using people like this. Disgusting business etiquette and a poor job of taking advantage of good folks. GIVE ME BACK MY DAMN FISH YOU THIEVES!!! I’m missing 22 meals for the people in my home! Dirty dirty business. Wish I read the reviews ahead of time because it looks like they do this CONSTANTLY. 400 worth of fish just up and gone with no answers!!
Homer fish is absolutely the place to go! We’ve been using them for 5 years now for all of our clients and any time we personally fish and they haven’t disappointed once! Filets are perfectly portioned, bags are quality and I always leave feeling like family! Thanks again Reubin, Kama and crew! You guys are the best in town!
