There are hundreds of hospice companies in AZ. I didn't know which one to choose so I asked my mother's group home who they like to work with and they said Hospice of the Valley. It was a terrific recommendation! Great people to work with - listened to my concerns, worked with my schedule so that I could be there when the nurse was visiting the group home, returned calls within 24 hours (same day most times), delivered medications and equipment quickly, took care of all necessary paperwork. After Mom passed, Hospice of the Valley offered bereavement support groups at no cost. I would choose this company again.

Small building located behind Mayo Clinic with compassionate staff, full kitchens to feed grieving families and friends, and surrounded by actual desert visas, prairie dogs, quail, and active lizards. Chinese art on the interior, couches, and very few beds for privacy of passing individuals.
I have had Hospice of the Valley taking care of my husband for almost two years. They are the best! I can't say enough on how wonderful they are. My husband has Alzheimer's and I was caring for him full time by myself. They came in half an hour of me calling them and took care of everything. They helped me find a wonderful place for him to live. I was with another hospice who were charging me for everything. Got rid of them fast!! Go with Hospice of the Valley.

I just want to thank the HOV staff for all that they do for the community and their patients. I work in caregiving and have referred back and forth with HOV staff for years. I appreciate that they do what they can to get patients in touch with all services that will improve their quality of life. Thank you HOV staff for all that you do!
