Great Store this one, wide variety and selection of items to choose from! The staff here are very kind and helpful! It opens 6 or 6:30am and I believe its open tell 9pm or 10 which is very helpful to contractors or the home owner doing some remodeling or but best of all just anyone needing almost anything, they can get it here! It doesn't have everything like no groceries but they do have a cold water or soda, no hot food but they have candy bars to help tide you over! Love Home Depot!!!

The Blue Springs location is staffed with the best people compared to all the other locations in KC. After over 30 years in the construction industry, I've seen them all... Home Quarters, Builder's Square, Payless Cashways, ...etc. I've purchased thousands of dollars worth of supplies and material from almost every location from Gladstone to Lee's Summit... Blue Springs to Overland Park. The Blue Springs location has it down with some of the best quality employees from lumber help and doors being ordered; to service desk and returns.

The staff (specifically Zuri... I hope I spelled her name right, and Bob) were so kind and over-the-top helpful in finding a clearance worklight we were looking for. We couldn't find it on the shelves and they managed to find one way up top in the extra storage above the shelving. It was in a tricky spot but Bob took the time to get it down for us after he found it. We really appreciate the help they gave us.

Update 1/6/20: I’ve been in twice more looking for wood and my guy wasn’t there from before. I was wandering around roofing/lumber, waiting for the boards aisle to open back up and the first guy approached me, asking if I needed assistance and I told him no. After a while, stated he thought I was buying things for my husband to complete around the house. I never mentioned or implied I had one, didn’t have a ring on, etc. It didn’t feel like an advance, it was more like nauseating stereotyping. It was uncomfortable. Boards aisle still wasn’t open so I just left. Second time coming in, the guy that helped me by cutting boards kept saying things that implied “you don’t know what you’re doing”. Kept recommending products that would absolutely not work, told me I should look in the prefab shelf aisle, saying the wood was heavy duty (yes that’s why I bought it), asked me if I knew it required hardware to install????, etc. My expectations for the rest of the employees were so high based on my interaction with the first guy in my review. I still need materials for renovations so I’m not eliminating shopping here but I’ll stick to shopping online/picking up curbside from here on out. Original review: Holy cow I had some top of the line assistance from one of the staff members! He literally helped me find EVERYthing I came into the store for. I don’t normally need assistance but this guy didn’t make it a “chore” to assist me and went out of his way to ensure the service was outstanding. He was so excited about working there too and had a great deal of knowledge and tips - you could really tell he enjoyed his job and the store he works for.

We bought a washer and dryer from here and after dealing with the salesman we almost walked away. Looking back I wish we had gone to Lowe’s. The salesman informed us that they no longer do military discounts which I knew to be a lie. Once we got the washer and dryer paid for and scheduled a delivery date we received a call the day before delivery saying our order would be postponed about another week. Once everything was delivered it seemed to be working fine until we noticed lint on top of the appliances I looked behind and saw that the dryer hose was improperly installed and damaged. I called to speak to a manager on two separate occasions and was hung up on both times. This is the worst experience I have ever had to deal with and will be leaving my complaint with the BBB as well.
