I lived here at CV as a senior last year, and absolutely loved it. If I get accepted here again as a grad student, that would be absolutely nuts and it would make my year, but I guess I need to get accepted as a grad student first. What I especially adored about this place was its proximity to campus. I was a bio student, and CV was most convenient for bio students since the bio buildings are located literal seconds away from Campus Village. That's not to say that other buildings aren't close though. The furthest academic buildings from CV are Social Science I think, but even those buildings are ten minutes away (fifteen if you're a slow walker). I liked how the Community Center also offered a lot, like a gym (which I hear some people saying is better than the gyms that other residential areas offer, and sometimes even the ARC), awesome theater room, and game/recreational places. There are also individual study rooms located throughout CV, so make sure you use them! The science library is also very close, being about a fifty second walk from my apartment, so I went there A LOT. In addition, it still remains the cheapest on campus option. This is a nice place to live in the UCI campus. I lived as a sub-leases and had good experience in the community. However, the owner of the apartment was not nice and clear. That was only the worst experience.
Great place to work. Been working here for 6 years. Great housing for U.C. students.
Best location for any UCI sort of living. Literally 2 min walking distance to BS3 or the Science library. Would not really recommend bringing your car unless you want to go out often. Apartment has two lots, one near the basketball courts and one near Lot 3 Zone parking. You most likely wont find parking in the afternoon fyi.
You can’t even get mail delivered here. Office staff use to be able to, but now they won’t help
