I’ve been a backyard composter for the last few years but had to take a break due to the cold and snowy weather. I started looking into local alternatives and found Java’s. I signed up with the intention of being a seasonal customer, but I love it so much I may never go back. I love that I can compost a wider variety of items than I was able to in our backyard. With a baby and a toddler it’s been so nice that I’m saving our food waste from a landfill but I don’t have to dedicate the time and effort to maintaining my own compost pile. It’s so convenient that they pick it up each week, drop off a clean bucket and they even send reminder texts the night before my scheduled pick up. Everything about their service is convenient and seamless. I highly recommend Java’s if you’ve been wanting to try composting!

Java’s compost is on a mission to make this earth a better place and making composting friends along the way! Michelle & Java are awesome- knowledgeable, helpful, and passionate about the business and really add a local touch. This service really takes the hassle (and mess) out of composting and my kids love to look on the compost guide to see what can be reused by the earth rather then just end up as trash. I really love the automated pick up reminders and stats of how many pounds of impact we contributed and even how many seedlings we helped plant via our subscription.
I'm someone who always wanted to compost, but could never get over the learning curve. Java's pick up service is the best thing ever, as I can simply toss scraps into a bucket and let the experts do the work behind the scenes. We've reduced our trash by HALF since we started, and it is so easy to do. Michelle and Java are not only passionate and incredibly knowledgeable about composting, they also help educate the community and bring impactful change. They are the kind of small business owners that make our world a better place.
Java Compost is the BEST!!! Besides being an amazing company, passionate about their initiative, easy to reach and extremely responsive. Composting has decreased our trash by 85-90% easily! AND IT IS SO EASY!
Michelle is absolutely great, I signed up for her company's composting service this week and she spent an entire hour answering all my questions about composting. Highly recommend her company for those interested in giving compositing a try, super easy set up
