I had Jenco send someone for a service call because the NG back-up generator that came with the house we bought last year stopped working. After coming and taking a look, they said the stepper motor went out and would need to be replaced. I replaced the motor and it still doesn't work. I had to pay the near 100 service fee for the diagnostic, went and paid for the cost of the replacement motor, and spent all that time installing the new one, just to find out the diagnostic was wrong and the old motor works just fine. The best part is our generator still doesn't work and I'm back to square one after spending all that time and money. I feel like they should have some sort of money back guarantee or something that protects the customer if Jenco's diagnostic is wrong.

Jenco has been a great company to work with. They are attentive and do a thorough job. Even with the shortages in generator parts this pandemic has caused, they have been great.

I ordered my Generac 22kw system back in September, right after the power outage in the Salt Lake valley. They told me there was about a 16 week wait due to the huge line of backorders. It finally arrived and was installed in early January. The install went well and fairly glitch free - even though I had the complication of needing two transfer switches, given my solar system that had to be integrated. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the purchase - even more so after seeing the devastating ice storm in Texas that knocked out power for millions. This system gives me a great sense of comfort ... just in case. For me, personally, the hardest part was getting the Generac to pair with my wifi. Generac support is pretty much useless and I had to figure it out on my own. Turns out that by adding a NetGear wifi extender, at the wall closest to the generator, it strengthened the signal enough for the Generac to to be able pair with it so the Mobile Link app would finally work.

Jake from Jenco serviced a generator and transfer switch for us today and provided an outstanding customer experience. Jenco notified us ahead of time, by text, that he was on his way, and then Jake arrived early, completed his diagnostic and maintenance work quickly, took time to walk us through everything he did and to update us on the status of the generator, advised on things we might do to prolong its life, and even answered a few other random questions we had. Jake was totally competent and Jenco was price competitive, scheduled us quickly, and did exactly what they said they would. We will use them again.

Have received excellent diagnostic and maintenance work on my Ecogen 5818 at very reasonable cost. It is installed at a remote mountain telemetry site where it is critical to supplementing battery charging from our solar panels. Being only snow mobile accessible in the winter, when it failed during a very cold spell this January for example, a technician was dispatched within 24 hours and had it up and running in minutes along with good suggestions for preventing future downtime.

NOT impressed. Jenco gave us a bid. they came out and did the install according to whatever he felt like and not what was on the bid. We got into an argument about what was included. He finally installed it correct. This was 2 or 3 months ago and still haven't had it inspected. Very pushy guy. I would NOT recommend this company

Jenco Team is amazing. They have gone out of their way to help me get my generator fixed. They have snowshoed into my cabin in the winter to service it and have made time in their busy schedules to get me up and running. They are very fair and professional. I highly recommend working with Jenco Team.

Jenco did not provide good service for us. The owner was quite rude and forceful (needs better PR). It seems their knowledge is more on the installation side of things rather than on maintenance and repair of gensets. From our experience we would not recommend them.
