Our family has been associated with Juan Diego Catholic High School, middle and elementary schools since 2006. Our son graduated from Juan Diego in 2012 and our daughter in 2016. Both our son and daughter were student athletes in high school. Our son went on to play college lacrosse and is graduating this year with a dual degree and plans to attend medical school. Our daughter is playing D1 women’s soccer and is on-track to graduate from a nationally ranked academic university and plans on attending medical school as well. Why did we choose Juan Diego? We are a non-Catholic middle class family, and like all parents we wanted to give our children every chance to succeed in college and in life. This meant preparing their mind, body and soul for the challenges they will face. To do this, we looked to Juan Diego to help prepare our children and give them the tools they need to be successful. Juan Diego provided a safe Christian based environment, small class sizes, a service based community, and excellent academics and athletics. Seeing what both of our children have accomplished and knowing what they will accomplish, we couldn't be any more proud of them. The community of Juan Diego had everything to do with it. We made the right choice of including the Juan Diego community in the lives of our children. From one parent to another, I would make the same choice again.

Full disclosure: I am the principal of the high school for Juan Diego Catholic schools and have served in this position since we first opened in 1999. I am also a parent of two graduates who attended the schools from kindergarten through grade 12. If you choose our school I think you will find committed parents, dedicated teachers and motivated students engaged in our mission, which is to develop the whole student - body, mind and soul. Our belief is that the most well-rounded students become the most humane adults who help make the world a better place. We welcome families and students of all Faith backgrounds.

I have seen students from all types of backgrounds and religions come through Juan Diego's halls. There are countless stories of the caring teachers and coaches that have had such positive effects on student's high school experience. Student's preparation for college and their ability to study and work on long term goals was made part of the DNA of Juan Diego graduates. JD's graduates have moved on to the professions and the trades and have had great successes. Best school for the money in Utah.

Juan Diego has exceeded our expectations. With one student in college (graduated from Juan Diego) and one still at Juan Diego we know, as parents, that we made the right decision to send them there. The school offers all levels of academics and extracurricular activities. Students are encouraged to excel by their peers. Juan Diego's AP classes are excellent with a high pass rate compared to other schools. The school also offers excellent art classes, dance, debate, journalism etc. Your student can enjoy and be involved in everything from Debate to Drill. If you are considering a new school, new to the area or want something different for your child be sure to check out Juan Diego. You will love it.

Have had 2 of my sons attend Juan Diego; absolutely no comparison to Charters, Public and other private schools. Value based education, excellent focus on academics and college prep added with a holistic approach to teaching kids how to be a responsible and contributive citizen of the world. Highly recommend, no matter your faith.

Juan Diego Catholic High School has been the best educational decision for our family. If you are looking for a school that is committed to excellence in education, building strong community bonds, Faith, STEMS, The Arts, the success of the whole child, who takes the time to partner with parents along the way, and has a strong commitment to service in the community...this is your school! #ExploreJuanDiego

Our two sons attended Juan Diego for 9th and 10th grade until we moved to Austin, TX this summer. It was an incredibly positive experience for them, even coming in as new students to the community as high schoolers. The administration, staff, teachers, and academics, including AP classes, are top notch, and the accepting and inclusive atmosphere on campus was unparalleled. Neither boy was in sports, so we can't speak on that, but, one was in theater arts and choir (which he loved), and both felt completely included and very much a part of the community. We highly recommend visiting campus and seeing for yourself!

This is my teen's first year at JDCHS. It's been a great experience so far. The staff and facility are all excellent. The principal is highly invested in the student's success.
