Working with Karissa Van Tassel was a complete pleasure from the moment we had our initial consultation all the way through image preview and final selection. The day of our photoshoot, Karissa and her team made any nervousness I was experiencing disappear through the relaxed and joyful atmosphere they created. I had chosen an outdoor venue and as we moved through the space, Karissa was quick to spot backgrounds that would offer unique textures, complimenting colors, mysterious shadows, or brilliant washes of light. Her artistry and keen attention to detail results in images which beautifully capture a person’s essence. Her post-processing work is done skillfully and with a light touch and the entire experience could not have been easier. I highly recommend anyone needing or wanting photos to consider collaborating with Karissa. Our family photos were beautiful! Our session with Karissa was a lot of fun and so smooth. We were on location at the pardee rose garden and we liked how she suggested poses and areas for nice photos. She also brought her son who helped entertain our 2yr old! For us, it was nice to have her curate the set of photos we ended up picking from but if you're someone who wants to see everything you may want to discuss with her. Great experience overall

Karissa is unbelievably talented! My husband and I needed new headshots and Karissa did a phenomenal job with our photos. Karissa is warm, friendly and so genuine. She was willing to work with us on scheduling and was just so kind and patient throughout the entire shoot. The photos she produced for us were stunning and it was so difficult to pick, they were all excellent. If you are in need of professional photos, go to Karissa!
