Glockner HomePort rental was an awesome stay. The home had everything promised in ad. The view from the glass enclosed patio was exquisite. We had some rain, so fishing was cut short. We were able to have more family time inside and cooking on open patio outside. Can't wait to visit again. Great birthday weekend.

We stayed here while broke down during our vacation and wow what a great place to be stranded! Definitely sunset heaven for sure! I am a sucker for sunsets and this was amazing! Lots of birds and the water is beautiful. Very peaceful & serene. Theres about 3 spots at the moment and a house they rent out but he's adding more in the near future. But this is what makes it so nice, your not crammed in a park with 200 other campers. The owner was so friendly and sympathetic to our situation with our truck breaking down and we so appreciated that! Another local campground was not so sympathetic. You really see what people are made of when your in that helpless situation! We will definitely make our way to Glockner's Place when we are in the area next time!
Pros: 1. Great for watching the sun set and sun rise. 2. Has a friendly alligator that some people feed. 3. Great view of the Lake 4. Very quiet. Only one neighbor. (A very friendly gentleman) Cons: 1. Still needs a lot of repairs (Owner is in the process of making the repairs) 2. At the end of the world. The road needs a lot of repairs.
Nice secluded place in the Lacomb marsh.
My friend rents this every year and it's minutes from my house. Awesome dock access, we had to 20 foot fishing boats and a cigarette racing boat docked with room to spare. Nice accommodations and easy access to great fishing and crabbing.
