My teens and I have been attending Tapestry for about 15 years. I came for the youth program and stayed for the thought-provoking sermons, the commitment to incorporating a range of belief systems, beautiful music and the social action opportunities. My kids enjoy the activities, summer camp, the youth group, the coming-of-age program and that they can be themselves here.

Gentle and friendly example of a \saving community\. We are not saved by a dead dogma or a hypocritical preacher. We are the ones we have been looking for. Great message!

Ken Mock's review is appreciated for it's candor, but is very out of date. One should take 3 year old reviews of any churches with a grain of salt. My family and I have been coming to Tapestry for over 20 years and feel that throughout it's trials, tribulations, transformations and modifications, it remains excellent, filled with people who genuinely care about each other and are thinking about our jobs as stewards of this planet (which is the only one for light years around where you can hear the laughter of children and other earth sounds). They even care about YOU, even if you are not a Unitarian Universalist, even if you do not live in America, even if you disagree, or choose not to believe in any Gods. We will NOT be coming to knock on your doors at 6 AM, but would be happy to see you at Tapestry. Bring your doubts and concerns about the universe along, everyone has them.

I enjoy the warmth and caring of the folks at Tapestry. I particularly value the open-mindedness of the congregation and the acceptance of differing belief systems.
