Great little mom and pop shop that is one part music store and one part health/baby/children's store. Sounds weird, but it works. Music classes for all ages, too.

First and foremost, Port Washington deserves a fine music store. And Lakeside is just that! I purchased a 170 Dean acoustic there that plays better than my 500 Alvarez. I traded in an American made Strat for store credit to get essentials I needed, along with some cash I paid. Owner (sorry, I forgot your name...) completely revitalized my most cherished guitar after it suffered a neck injury. If you have kids and want to introduce them to music, this is a must stop shop. For anything and anything, ask the owners behind the desk, they are super helpful. Let's all buy strings and accessories here, among obvious other purchases too, to help keep a great place alive in downtown Port!

Cool little hippy shop. Nice instruments and reasonably priced. Cool bumper stickers and grateful dead memorabilia. One of the only places around like this. If you like music and the dead this place is cool.

Very personal and unique space. They have a very wide variety of instruments and accessories. They also have lessons and workshops for people of all ages and skill levels. Amazing place.
