I would absolutely love this place if they served fresh food everyday. They have the best seafood broils I’ve ever had. When the food is fresh it is amazing but this restaurant is unfortunate because you can tell that the majority of the time, the food isn’t fresh. The crab legs tend to be soft, as if it’s left over from the morning or the previous day, and the meat will be gamey and rubbery as well. At the moment, this place isn’t worth the money. If they got their stuff together and made each order fresh, it would be one of the best restaurants in Laurel.

The food was great. Customer service was pretty good. Only thing is that with the type of music they were playing, you can’t bring kids over there. The music was so rated R. Feedback, change the music that’s appropriate for kids at all times. (I would at least censor the music). Just my thoughts.
We’ve been coming here for some time but today’s order was so bland. We ordered 3 make your own orders with snow crab legs shrimp Dungeness etc. It tasted so unlike what they normally do I called to see if there was a different chef today and if there was anything they could do. I just got off the phone 1/18/21 9pm and I was told hopefully it tastes better next time. I didn’t catch her name, but I’m quite dissatisfied with the customer service tonight.
I usually have a great time when I go to Red crab House but last Friday Feb 12 I did not receive the great service that was expected. The server took about 20 minutes to come take my order, my drink was not put in right away to the point I had to cancel and order a fountain drink and even that took an additional 10 minutes. A friend came to my table and was never acknowledge to take his order. My food finally came out and i was not given a bucket, gloves or napkins. I was never able to ask for any until my meal was over because the waitress did not come and check on our table. When she finally did she said they were short staffed. I don't need an explanation I need them to work the best if their abilities because I watched and counted her go to the other tables multiple times. I have really loved this place in the past it is getting two stars because I still did enjoy the food but this was my worst service I've ever received from them.
Great atmosphere, super friendly and helpful staff. We were seated promptly with no wait. It was hard to decide what to get as everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked so good. We started with hush puppies and chicken wings. The hush puppies were the best I've ever had and the wings were awesome. I had the fried catfish with sweet potato fries. Both were cooked perfectly and neither were greasy. The fish was very fresh. My husband had the heads on shrimp with clams. He said it was delicious and wished he had gotten the larger size.
