I've had a leak in my bedroom since November 2018. It has been neglected to get fixed. I do not recommend living in this building if you want to be dry when you sleep.

I loved my time at Liberties Lofts. I shared a 2-bedroom with my sister and we had a great experience. The loft is super spacious with beautiful finishes and LOTS of character. If we ever had a problem, Dave the manager was always more than willing to help us out. The rooftop party that they hosted (pre-pandemic) was tons of fun. (free food, free booze and great views). Also, tough to beat this location. Just a stones throw from Honey's, Cafe le Maude, pura vida, north third, and many many more. Highly recommend.

My apartment is beautiful with lots of natural light and was just redone completely in 2017. I never hear my neighbors and love the roof deck. Only a 10 minute walk to the el and 2 minute walk to target. Great neighborhood, too.

Loved my experience at Liberties Lofts! Spent two fantastic years living in a first floor two bed / 2 bath unit. The amount of space you get for your money is incredible! The high ceilings make the apartments seem even bigger than they already are. We made so many friends in the building - very friendly and helpful neighbors, feels like a little community. Rooftop access & pet friendly make for additional bonuses. In regards to the negative reviews, I recommend getting acquainted with the building manager (Dave) and landlord (Howard) to improve your experience. Dave and Howard are incredibly responsive and helpful... they want nothing but the best experience for all tenants in the building. I would've renewed for a third year if it wasn't for a job relocation - definitely recommend!

Lived here for 3 years and it can be described as you get what you pay for. The prices were below average for the city, the sq. footage is above average but it's a loft. The high ceilings mean you're going to have higher utilities. The place hasn't been updated in a few years so the amenities are going to be out of date. Do your due diligence and talk to someone who was in the apt before you move in to make sure your aware of the issues they saw. Also everyone who lives in this apartment continues to win fantasy football championships.
