Palen remembers your name, your sense of humor, your job logistic needs, and the type of mentor/colleague support you want. In college as I networked and prepared to enter the education world, I had lots of face time with many popular music/music education companies on the NAfME-C level- and Palen Music Center always prioritized the music educator as a person as highly as the services. In particular, my collaboration with Mike Steffen, Kevin Fearn, and Professor Bell have been very satisfactory. I plan to keep my loyalty with Palen as I move through the seasons in my career because Palen showed loyalty to me first.

I can't express how terrific the customer service is from their staff. They always take care of our needs and are full of knowledge in the band world. Mike Steffen, their educational road representative from Liberty, is an outstanding employee who truly knows his craft and their store manager Emmett Starkey is always organized and willing to go above and beyond. I would strongly recommend their instruments to play beautifully and worth the investment for somebody looking to buy guitars, drums, brass, woodwinds, and more. Their instrument repairs are always satisfactory. I can't say enough great things on their excellent work in the band world.

Palen Music does a wonderful job of supporting music in our schools! Through weekly on-site visits, their knowledgable representatives not only handle repairs and supply orders, but also offer clinics and support for sustaining programs and building recruitment. During our quarantine in Spring of 2020 they also did a phenomenal job of creating and sharing valuable workshops and clinics across a wide variety of topics - helping to build networking, knowledge and motivation across many states. And a special shout out to Mike Steffen, our KC rep - he is top notch! Thank you Palen and Mike!
