Both of my sons have been learning music at Natalia’s school, Music School of NYC for the past 4 years; one plays the piano and the other the violin. The teachers are as good as it gets, dedicated and knowledgeable, qualities which are hard to come by in music teachers these days. I love their approach and the fact that my kids are able to benefit from the teaching techniques is a real plus for us. My children have turned into little musicians during the past 4 years and continue to improve their skills. As someone who has had a number of music teachers growing up, I couldn't be happier with Music School of New York City.

We found this school on a groupon deal and decided to try as my daughter was struggling with math and her tutor recommended taking some music classes. My daughter is attending right now and loves it. She is 6. She looks forward to going every week. Will definitely keep her signed up through the year.. Not sure yet if it will help her with math but even if it does not its definitely helping her being more focused in other things
Excellent teachers and overall musicianship/\u00adquality of the program. Also i love the way they setup the space that you can see your child while not being in the same room. Highly recommend!
I purchased a Groupon for piano classes in the Mineola location. Called several times to schedule appointment, no one answered and no one returns call. Also called the NYC location, the voicemail box is full. Why accept payments and waste people’s time.
My daughter and son are students of MSNYC and they love it. We initially heard about Ms. Natalia through word of mouth three years ago, when we still lived in Manhattan. We set up an initial meeting with Natalia and our daughter connected with her right away. Our daughter has developed tremendously over the last 3 years. We recently moved to Long Island and now our son (6 yrs old) has started violin lessons and he really enjoys it. As other reviewers have stated, MSNYC offers a comprehensive teaching approach. Natalia’s dedication to the teaching of music, music theory, the enjoyment of playing music, as well as the general well-being and over-all growth and development of each student is both unique and evident in the students. They do 2 formal recitals each year. This helps the kids to become more comfortable with performing in front of audiences and also helps to build a warm, supportive family community. It's also great fun to see the kids progress! We were looking for a new piano teacher for my daughter who has been taking lessons on and off with several different teachers with varying results. Ms. Natalia came highly recommended from a mom who has her child taking piano lesson with Natalia’s school in the city for a while. I made the call and immediately set a time for our meet and greet session. It was nice to see that Natalia is very serious about the quality of music each of her student should undertake. She is always very gentle but firm in her lesson with my daughter (must be that Russian and Julliard background . She is consistent with her message, know what she is doing, and understands it well. My daughter has been making steady progress and is happy with her piano lessons with Natalia. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a serious but nice piano teacher.
