I bought a piano from A440 in the summer and it was a great experience. Pascal was very helpful answering my questions over email and actually pushed me to a cheaper option that he thought was better for me, without trying to upsell me on something more expensive. Delivery was on time and professional. There's a second part to the story which makes me even more impressed - there ended up being an issue with the piano which A440 was technically not responsible for, but Pascal offered to swap out the piano with a replacement and didn't charge me anything besides for delivery. That's really going above and beyond and I will definitely recommend A440 to anyone looking for a great used piano.

It has been a dream for so long to find a beautiful Pleyel piano for my studio/salon. I found the website by accident and there she was \Marie-Claire\ my Pleyel. I made an appointment to meet her. Everyone was so helpful and supportive. I flew into Atlanta and spent some time with the piano and after sleeping on it, purchased her. My home wasn't finished yet and A440 Pianos was able to store her safely and delivered her beautifully and safely to my home. Now I'm working hard and learning from her every day. This is a scam!! Bait and switch trick to get you to the “shop”. I talked to the owner on Friday about a specific piano. He answered my questions and provided the history of the piano. I made an appointment to see the piano the very next day. I drove over 2 hours to see the piano only to find out it had been sold weeks ago. Why in the world did the owner not tell me that the piano that I was coming to see was not available!! Don’t waste your time even talking with these folks.

I bought a beautiful used 1979 Baldwin grand from A440 Pianos several years ago and have been very happy with it. I tried out many pianos in the owner’s home and in his warehouse before making my selection, and was quite impressed with the variety in section (lots of antique high-end instruments that I didn’t end up buying but which I still really want) as well as the owner’s deep knowledge of pianos. I asked lots of detailed questions about the physical and technical condition of about five pianos that I was seriously considering before making my purchase, and I found his responses to be very frank, honest, and thorough. The piano I purchased was precisely as described and I love it. I recommend for that reason above all others. One note regarding a few of the reviews I see here: most of this seller’s pianos are not brand new or factory-refurbished and are not marketed as such. The price points are extremely competitive but reflect each instrument’s particular condition. When buying a used instrument, it is extremely important to ask questions, or talk to your own piano teacher or technician if you dont know what questions to ask, before making your purchase to maximize the likelihood that you will be happy with what you receive.
