We had a very poor experience with this school. As a new family who had been homeschooling for years, their statement of \homeschooling with help\ really turned into homeschooling on their time schedule. We were paired with a mentor teacher who was also new to the school and did not know how to order our materials. Subsequently, they were three weeks late, yet the school refused to grant us that time to finish the work. We were put in a position where we had to complete 9 weeks of work in 6. This was a disaster for which my daughter is still paying. She ended up with only .25 credits for the semester in math, science, history and English. Due to this issue, she is having to take extra semesters of classes in these subjects, because there is no way to make up a quarter of a credit. Just to graduate with her class she has been putting in many hours into on-line courses to make up the difference. On the positive side, the instructors were great to work with and the course materials, once we got them, were well chosen and relevant to the course offerings. My son has just graduated high school from LOGOS Public Charter School. He attended this school from 7th grade on, and he loved all of it! They are so supportive of the students, and they work hard to help them succeed. If your child does not quite fit in with the traditional school setting, give LOGOS a try.
