I was referred to this hospital by my primary veterinarian because my Foxy Mama has a heart issue. From the very beginning I have had nothing but positive interactions. Dr. Allen went over the procedure numerous times with me and was very patient as I'm not very familiar with heart terms/ functions. Everything from the procedure,follow-up visits, payment issues and the medication schedule was clearly explained as well as followed through. Just finished our 2-month checkup and again everyone went above and beyond. Here are a few pictures of Foxy Mama living her best life....

Last night we had a dental emergency with our 16 yo corgi/chihuahua 10 lb. ball of fur and fury. He was in a lot of pain. The VCA tech's were attentive and very caring, answered our questions and called when they said they would. Due to Covid restrictions, we were unable to be there for the initial exam. The tech held him in her arms and you could see he was at ease with her. Today, he looks like he's feeling so much better. I am so very grateful for the dedicated, caring and very kind professionals that cared for our little baby. Thank You VCA !!!

I came here to drop off a pet for someone for an emergency. This was already cleared by phone with the emergency room, by the owner. When I got there the intake guy (I wish I caught his name) was rude and abrasive to me for no good reason. He started barking orders at me and couldn't be less helpful or patient as I tried to explain the situation. This is no way to treat someone who is trying to calmly sort things out. Once he finally took the animal in he told me I couldn't leave (again this was supposed to be a drop off as it wasn't my pet). He then told me to have seat at one of the spaced out waiting chairs, I complied trying not to lose my temper. Then he comes back out barking at me to get in my car. Luckily I got the owner to clear things up with the ER and I left. This unprofessional incompetent man should be fired!

I don't know where to start, still very emotional about last night's visit. See I had to put my best friend down and decided on taking him here. I must admit I was a little hesitant due to their online rating but it was close to work. We arrived and parked in a designated parking spot in the garage. I checked in and they attended us right away, very professional and considerate! They rolled a gurney on wheels to the car since my dog couldn't walk. They provided us a very nice, clean room to say our last goodbyes as a family in private. The hospital is very nice and everyone made us feel better about bringing him here. They provided a remote with a button so when we are ready for the doctor to come in and put him down. The doctor was nice, kind and professional! I can't say enough about the experience other than bitter sweet. THANK YOU TO VCA WEST FOR MAKING THIS MOMENT BEARABLE! ️

I brought my two-week-old puppy Nova to VCA emergency after observing unusual and worrisome behavior from her. Each and every staff member that I encountered were incredibly kind, professional, and definitely put me at ease while I eagerly waited for her in my car (covid things). I didn't have cell service in the parking lot, but multiple members of staff came out to update me on how she was doing and informed me of every measure and test they were taking to ensure her health was ok. I received a full itemized summary and a multiple page document answering each and every question I had in detail. I'm not entirely sure why this hospital only has 3 stars on Google, as the times that I have been here, I have always had a fantastic experience. I would like to thank Dr. Rowena de Joya along with the other members of staff for taking my sweet girl into your care tonight and treating her like one of your own. I will definitely be switching my primary vet to VCA :)
