Stressful and Horrible Experience There were so many issues and stressful moments having Simon as a lawyer and with the staff lawyer Christine who was assigned to my case. Christine was very rude and unprofessional. Wasn't good at communicating with me. Simon missed a due that I wasn't aware of and called me 3 days AFTER the due date looking for the information. I sent the document within 2 days of notification from Simon, which now made the document 5 days late, by the time the document was sent, it was 10 days past the original due date. Simon sent a notice for date extensions, I never saw the final content of the document before the document was given to the opposing team, and I made previous requests to see final documents before they were sent to the opposing lawyers. The document was sent and signed on my behalf by my counsel. In the request for extension dates Simon created and sent, he blamed me for the document being late. When coronavirus became prevalent in March 2020, Simon used the coronavirus as an excuse to not perform any work on my case although ALL work on my case prior to coronavirus was being done completely through emails, so there wasn't any reason not to continue working on my case as the arbitration group clearly posted on their website that cases would still proceed and be processed via email. I showed Simon the information on the arbitration website just to invalidate his excuse for not continuing to work on my case. My case was on track to be a loss with Simon. I had enough and switched lawyers. The new lawyer fought hard for my case. He communicated with me on the progress of my case and it was apparent the he cared about my case. I had a successful outcome with my new lawyer and was thankful to have him as my lawyer. My experience was the opposite of Simon, it was stress free and pleasurable.
