Videos of things that happen where I am

I see two separate therapists here (and I've seen stand ins while my regular therapists have been on maternaty leave) and both are lovely people. I've sent a few friends to this practice when they're seeking therapy as there are a variety of people with a variety of skills. This is also a wonderful gender inclusive space, and it does its best to help you feel at home while waiting. I'd give it more stars if I could.

My sons dad and I took our seventh grader to see the child psychologist to try to get down to the reason he is having so much anxiety about going to school. My son is a super smart kid and popular. He is active in sports and other activities. I did not care for my son’s doctor. Neither did his dad. All she seemed to do was to humiliate him in front of us and it was extremely uncomfortable. She did not show compassion or concern about the reasons for his anxiety about going to school. She had a scowl on her face the entire time and basically looking at him as if he were stupid. We gave her one more try and said forget this. We thought bringing our child to a child psychologist would help him. I can’t believe she gets paid for this.

Had a great experience. Finally found a place that cares about me as a person. The therapist genuinely seemed invested in my particular situation. I felt heard and understood and I actually have hope for the future. I was given the time I needed, never felt rushed. I was honestly shocked. I am so glad I found this place and I look forward to continuing care here.
