Its really beautiful. But the trash is out of control. I pulled up earlier this week and park officials were there, but when they left I walked down and it looked like someone just picked up a trashcan and shook it around the place. Picked up what I could, while I could. Wish others or city would pay someone to do the same. Really sad to see somewhere so pretty be so nasty! Dont litter! Bring a spare trash bag to snag what you can when you can.

Beautiful!! Turquoise, Clear water. Rock bottom in some areas and shell bottom in most. (Bring water shoes) Great for kids!!! Hurricane Michael broke most of the shade but it's more open. I definitely recommend.

Came over from Mobile, AL with my fiancé who’s working with Hauling Away cleaning up after hurricane Michael. Everything I’ve found to take my almost 2yr old to cool off at is closed due to damages. I was really happy that I found this spot because the water is crystal clear and that cold water feels great! The only down sides are the parking area is a little small (which I kinda like though too because it helps cut down on the amount of people there) and people apparently can’t read that there’s not supposed to be glass bottles out there. Found a lot of glass in the sand today park rangers showed up a few times to be sure that rule was enforced. Also you can’t bring pets ️ It was nice to find such a spot though without trash all over the place!!!!! I’ve traveled around a lot and these hidden places are normally tore up. I’ll probably be going back now that I’ve found this spot daily till we get moved back to our Panama City camp. Our little one had a blast out there too. Passed out as soon as I put her in the car seat haha poor little baby played hard!
