Maryland recovery program is one of the best recovery programs I have been to the people there are nice kind understanding and all about recovery damn people that seriously care about people recovering from drug and alcohol abuse I highly recommend MRP because I was once a client day and they truly helped me accept me on the path to do some greatness in this world so if you in need of recovery or highly recommended

Maryland Recovery saved my life. I had been to numerous other treatment centers and was never able to stay sober. MRP gave me my life back again.

Please don’t go here or send your loved ones here. They promise you things over the phone that do not exist. They are not consistent with their rules and regulations. In no way was I felt cared for by the staff. One night myself and two other clients were left alone all night without supervision. The door on our inpatient house did not lock. The “treatment” consisted of watching movies and listening to music/watching music videos. Meds were not supervised by a nurse. Just dispensed on an honor code system. That being said, there are people there that care. Those people were the other clients. We had each other’s backs. I have heard that this place used to be amazing. They actually have an idea that works. Month one, inpatient. Month two and three, inpatient but with more privileges (ie get a job or volunteer, household chores...) but their vision is flawed. They need a huge change to bring it back. The town of Bel Air is lovely with a strong fellowship and good local people. MRP is a stain on the town. I did not put my “all” into the program. That’s on me. However, I felt like I was lied to, forgotten and just another paycheck to them. I have since found my way in sobriety at another treatment program in Northern Virginia and have almost 10 months clean and sober. I am happy. What am I most happy about? Not being in Bel Air Maryland.

Place was run down, at one point pipes busted on second floor resulting in cascading waterfalls crashing down into the dining area. Bed bugs, etc. They set up cots so they could squeeze extra people in. Catered to people with high bottoms, singular view on treatment and it’s outdated. Really Overpriced.

Maryland Recovery is one of the top programs in the State of Maryland. As a care manager in the region, they are always helpful and have a very fast response rate to client needs and care. Their clinical team has an excellent reputation and every patient we send to them really does well in their program.
