I love stopping here instead of Sahalie Falls omw to Bend or omw back to Eugene. The parking area is easier yo deal with when icy but also a TON less tourists or people in general to deal with.

This historic location is truly an Oregon treasure. This is a great place to walk a mile or two down the Santiam Wagon road get ready to imagine what it would be like to walk a few thousand miles
