The McPherson water park is a really fun place for kids. It is very clean and well maintained. The lifeguards are friendly and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with the facilities. They have a water slide, splash pad, large pool and lazy river. They offer geoup water fitness classes, swimming lessons and water walking. The swim team practices at the facilty. Wonderful resource for the community.

Called ahead and asked if they would be open due to it being overcast, they said yes. Got there, paid 15.00 to get in, swam for 25 minutes and they made everyone get out for 30 minutes due to lightning. As we waited it cleared up, storm moved northeast according to the my radar app. After the 30 minutes they told everyone to go home due to “weather”. They wouldn’t let us have our money back. The weather was hot and sunny the rest of the evening. I’m pretty sure the lifeguards just wanted the evening off. I could tell that everyone that was there waiting to swim was confused and upset that they closed.

It's been a great place to exercise by water walking or lap swimming. It's a good family-friendly atmosphere and just the right size to keep track of your kids.
