As far as the BYOB Mediterranean category in BMore goes this is tops. Cozy, romantic interior with very classy decor. Food is fresh with plenty of options for those that like land and sea. A few vegetarian options as well. Try the stuffed calamari appetizer and the Lamb Kebaps. Also, nice glassware for a BYOB. Service was outstanding.

The nicest service ever. They brought us free appetizers. One of us was not a meat person, and was not happy with her choice. The waitress offered her several times that he can change her food to whatever she likes. And food, the best Mediterranean I have ever tried in last few years.
At the time I went, they were not crowded. However, the service and food was pretty good. The server went above and beyond to make sure my mother and I had a wonderful experience. The server helped to guide us through the menu and suggested things that I probably would not have otherwise eaten. Also, check out the decor. The owner imported a lot of the stones from Turkey and has an awesome art feature to add to the ambiance. You feel like you stepped through a portal and are sea side on the Med. I recommend for a nice lunch or a romantic dinner.
Great new alternative to the overabundance of pub grub offerings in Fells! Had lunch everything was superb. Made a reservation for dinner while there! The freshest ingredients expertly prepared. A must try. BYOB.

Sleek, trendy, cozy atmosphere with fresh Mediterranean in Fells Point. The combination of flavors was amazing. Must have the octopus! Friendly wait staff and overall great experience!
I was positively surprised by the food, atmosphere, service and personal attention by the Mare Nostrum staff and management. For the reasons above I have decided to throw my birthday party in there even without looking into all of the previously preselected places/restaurants in my list. Needless to say that the place is BYOB which makes it even better for large gatherings.
Best kabob I've had in my life- even better than any kabob I've had traveling in the Middle East and Turkey. The place is nicely decorated. Definitely recommend.
