My mom was hospitalized and then transferred to this facility. The hospital case workers told me this is a relatively new facility and that it has great reviews. Mom has been there for 2 1/2 days so far for rehab and she called me in tears this morning, begging me to go home. She has been in rehab at other places and never had this attitude. She told me they have almost dropped her, they leave her in her room alone, and that they don't even have a rehab gym. I talked to her nurse today and he said he would call me back with discharge information, and NO ONE has called me back (it's 5:00 pm now). When myself or family members call to speak to her, the line just rings and rings. If I call the main line, they transfer me to the nurse's station, where it also just rings and rings. I understand that nurses are busy, so I'm on the line for almost 10 minutes as it rings and rings. I call my mom's direct line and it rang until someone picked it up and hung up. I don't recommend this facility. I'm worried about my mom and I'm getting frustrated that I can't get a hold of her. It was much easier to visit her and talk to her when she was at the other rehab facility and when she was in the hospital.

We moved my mother to Cheyenne Medical Lodge on February 7, 2020. After a long search we decided on this facility. The staff is very friendly and treat each resident like family. Plan of care meeting every 3 months to keep family apprised of how things are going. There are fun things for the residents to participate in. Mom is in the final stages of Alzheimer’s and they have been so gentle with her. We couldn’t be more pleased with how things are going.

My mother’s experience was good. However. The social services people are the rudest. They act like if you want to speak with them it’s on their time and we had difficulty getting her transported back home. My experience with them is that the workers are kind but those in charge are all about the business. Terrible !

I may be a little biased seeing as how I work here. This facility is the nicest I have ever seen for the type of care provided. No expense was spared in setting this place up. From the equipment to the artwork and fresh flowers, everything is top shelf. The best of the best. That goes for the people as well. Freshly staffed with highly qualified and skilled people. I do believe there will be a line of people wanting to get in!
