Mike has a gift for capturing the feel of a moment in his photographs. This has allowed me to revisit those special events. The best endorsement of his work that I can give is that, after I hired him for my son's Bar Mitzvah, I rehired him for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah. Contracting Michael Koehler Photography was a great decision for those events and after seeing more of his portfolio, I engaged him for a personal art piece. Michael is more than a guy behind a camera. He has a beautiful art of not only capturing smiles but souls! Your photos tell a story which even million words wont be able to express this beautifully. I’m not one to write a review but after having Michael stamp out the vibes of multiple occasions I need to share our joy of finding this company. It started when a friend recommended his services for our wedding. His style from our experience captures the true occasion. My wife and my self really wanted to enjoy our day and upon our request he was able to document our special day without staging every 2 minutes to capture what was really happening. Since our wonderful experience in 2017 he’s photographed our lil ones 1st birthday and provided services for each Christmas. We get excited to have Mike capture our lives he’s makes being our self and getting amazing photos at the same time so easy!

Mike photographed my wedding. He went above and beyond to get every shot we wanted, without it taking 6 hours. The photos are a mix of classic and modern. He managed to capture the essence of the day. So many beautiful candid shots. Since then we have used Mike for all family photographs. He is the best.

Hire him - he's great. We first used Mike to take some family photographs years ago and have gone back to him many times since. He's great with kids (they actually listen to him) and has taken some gorgeous pictures of them. He has always provided exactly what we wanted, usually without us knowing how to ask for it. Work product aside, he's a really nice guy, super easy to work with, and professional. Seriously, you won't regret using Mike for your personal or event photography. I want to include some of his photographs, but I'm not going to put pictures of my family online. I'll add one if I find something not easily identifiable.
