What a great privilege it was to be in Rosa’s care for our HBAC, home birth after cesarean. When I say privilege, I’m acknowledging how fortunate we feel to have aligned with her and how deeply we wish for all families to have access to this level of grace, confidence, knowledge and experience. For all the rich learning we received during our prenatal support through to the many loving follow up appointments in home after our birth. What a glorious experience and life changer. To be in her care is to be grounded in her wisdom and steadiness, and her profound belief in the beauty of birth and just how good it can be. We felt richly supported in all of our highly informed choices. Most importantly, she exuded a genuine belief in me and the innate intelligence of my body. That unwavering belief certainly carries through into the birthing realm. I never once felt worry or fear, not once. I believed in every ounce of myself. And if you’re lucky enough to have her student Evelyn attend as well...she’ll believe in you too! As well as nurture and guide you in the most precious and auspicious ways. Evelyn is already such an incredible midwife and I’m so happy for her dedication to this path and for all the learning that she receives from Rosa. These two women offered such a palpable and potent reflection that gave me both strength and great peace. What a way to usher in new life. I am in total awe and gratitude of the entire experience. I simply can not recommend Rosa enough. She is a treasure trove of midwifery wisdom, a steward of mama and baby wellness and an absolute gift to the magic and sacredness of birth.

Rosa is an absolutely fabulous midwife. We worked with her for the birth of our first child and she did a great job answering every question we had along the way about any concerns. We felt confident she would be a good fit based on her high level of experience, as well as melding with us on this journey on a personal level. When I went into labor earlier than expected she talked through all aspects with my husband so we could make the decision whether to continue with our home birth plan (we did). Being new parents we had a million questions as well and she was able to help us with those and eventually recommend a pediatrician when we reached that point for our baby. We can't recommend her enough, and hope to work with her again for future births!
We were extremely pleased with our birth experience. Rosa and Jessica were so supportive of all of our preferences and had great suggestions for natural remedies for pregnancy and postpartum ailments. They have a very comforting and warm presence, which put us at ease throughout our time with them. Being able to birth at home in the water with the support of whomever we wished to be there was wonderful and gave us a sense of security. I was able to completely immerse myself in the birthing process and let go. I would not trade my experience for anything. We are currently engaged again with them for our second pregnancy and couldn't be happier!
My wife and I loved working with Jessica and Rosa. They are both very knowledgeable and encouraging. Having our son at home with them was such an amazing experience. They provided excellent prenatal, delivery and postpartum care. We would recommend them to anyone looking to have midwives during their pregnancies.
I had an amazing experience with Jessica and Rosa--I worked with them from conception all the way through! Rosa was my rock through a long and challenging labor, and I'm so incredibly grateful to have been able to birth at home--I don't think I could have done it without her!
