In 2017 I bought a new 2017 Macan. I liked it, but there was a recall. Many cars have recalls, but it's still not wonderful to have 1. It was inconvenient that I have to go back to activivate Porsche Connect. It's difficult to make the time, so I'm doing without Porsche Connect until I can get back there. Annoying. The salesman, Andrew Proaps , was so nice & helpful. No pressure. Andrew took care of me & all my concerns. If you can. Buy from him, I suggest you do so. Tim Mattos was also top notch! He was kind & relaxed. Both men were calm & professional. One other man, the one that reviewed my trade in, I forgot his name, was also amazing. Relaxed, professional, & calm. Snappy dresser. He gave me a better trade in price than my old Marin RAB Penske Mercedes store down the road, & my trade in was from Penske! Sonnen gave me a great trade in price for my mostly pristine Mercedes & gave me a discount on my new porsche! Overall wonderful experience. I went back for the recall fix. They washed the car too. Andrew & the porsche 800# guy set my car connect & porsche connect. Very complex & difficult. My porsche connect is still messed up. They need to make the apps & computer stuff easier. November, 2020: I bought a new 2020 Porsche Macan. Again, the telematics is horrible. This will be my last Porsche. The company does not make easy to use telematics, & their internet service products are poor. Also, this 2020 Porsche is not nearly as good as my 2017 Porsche Macan! I wish I knew that before I bought this 2020. In 2019 they changed the Macan to just being a gussied up Audi A3. There's a huge difference in the way it drives, how it sounds, the lack of the same power, & then the poor telematics. The only better thing is the same level Bose stereo system in my Premium Plus fitted Macan. It is a great car, but this 2020 is not as good as my 2017 Macan, in my driver's opinion, & due to the horrible telematics, I won't buy a Porsche again. Deal breaker from now on.

I would highly recommend Porsche Marin to anyone considering a Porsche. Ethan was the sales adviser who helped me every step of the way through my purchase. I felt I got a fair price for a new Cayenne GTS, without having to negotiate back and forth, I let Ethan know what I wanted and he delivered. They also worked with me on getting a fair trade in on my 911, Ben took the time to explain how they come up with their number, where they could help, and I was happy in the end. My buying experience here was many levels above an east bay dealership I first went to as far as their professionalism and follow-up. Do your due diligence and talk to Porsche Marin before making any final decision, Ethan is great to work with.
