Arepa Bar really brings the true Venezuelan flavor to the table. the empanadas are incredible, the portions are very generous for the price and the staff is very friendly and professional. it’s a great experience overall, 100% recommended.

The pabellón criollo is INCREDIBLE!!!! As well as the Reina Pepiada, not too much mayo or chicken and the perfect ratio of cheese, just perfection! Nothing to envy to the Venezuelan restaurants in Miami or Orlando, Fl where Venezuelan food is king. The meat for the pabellón criollo shredded to perfection, not oily or chewy. The most pleasant surprise having found this place while visiting my husband at work in Minneapolis. We are not locals. Thank you Arepa Bar! We have visited Arepa Bar at the Midtown Market several times and tried arepas, sampled soups and enjoyed other dishes and desserts including flan. Everything was wonderfully prepared. Hats off to Chef Soleil Ramirez!
My favorite things are here!!! The chicken soups (have had 2 kinds), the avocado chicken Arepa. And the deserts: Flan, Chocolate Ganache, and the Rum Cake. And Soleil is one of our favorites, too. A delight️

I stumbled upon Arepa Bar yesterday when grabbing lunch after renewing my license and am so glad I did! The owner and chef, Soleil Ramirez, and I spoke briefly and she was super friendly and very helpful making recommendations based on my tastes. Most importantly, the food was FANTASTIC!! I'm not even a big arepa fan but the pulled chicken arepa I got was really good and the beef empanada was even better! I can't wait to go back again!
