I truly dislike writing bad reviews but this encounter should be brought to light for the next customers. I attempted to make an online booking on Friday morning 8/17/20. Upon hitting the submit, a pop up came up and read \problem processing your booking please call ***.***.****\ (or something close to that) I called within minutes and was sent to VM. I left a message and an hour/- later I called again to avoid losing the house for the rental week, someone did answer this time and I explained the issue. I was told to send an email (which I did promptly) and was told, \when we get back to the office we'll see what the issue is and get back to you\. I responded, \it would be great if I could book it today so as not to lose the week\ As you can guess by the 1 star, no return call Friday afternoon or Monday morning. To keep this short, I called twice mid-day Monday and spoke with someone on the second attempt and was told the house had been booked a few hours earlier that morning by someone else. I completely understand people \get busy\, but one 10 minute return call.... I guess it's easy to sell a product that sells itself!

What a fantastic group to work with. They have a variety of fabulous homes! They will provide you with information about the best places to eat and the best entertainment spots around the lake. They offer top notch service and will give you the perfect home away from home! Call them first you will not be disappointed!

CB rentals has friendly staff and was easy to work with. They were very accommodating to my families needs. The house was super clean along with more than enough space. We had a great view of the lake from almost anywhere in the house. The dock was very spacious. Would recommend CBRentals for any rental needs you may have

CB Sales and Rentals is a company I have used several times when vacationing at Smith Mountain Lake. I have always been impressed by all facets of their business. Their selection of properties is by far above all other companies on the lake, and their attention to detail is impeccable. The best part about the company is by far the service. It blends the best of both worlds - you will feel like you are being taken care of by a top 10 international resort because their response time is amazing....but they do so with the down home local charm that the lake inspires. The owners, office staff and field support staff are top notch in every aspect. There really is no other way to go when staying at the lake.

The best company for a great Lake vacation. They are prompt and courteous with all the information for your rental needs. In my experience the houses are clean and well maintained. I would skip the beach and definitely visit Smith Mountain Lake.
