Fun way to get from the metro to the top of Mount Washington for a great view of downtown.

I don't like heights but this didn't bother me...

The incline is a great experience for both kids and adults. During peak hours there may be a way because commuters that live up the hill will use this as a way to get up. It’s definitely something you do once as a tourist and never as a local unless it’s a mode of transportation or someone is visiting. Make sure to dress for the weather as the cars are not temperature regulated. Shops and restaurants at the bottom and an overlook at mount Washington at the top.

No trip to Pittsburgh is complete without riding the incline! This was my first time in Pittsburgh and I wasn't really expecting much. When I got there, the card reader machine didn't work so I couldn't buy my ticket to Ride. Thankfully when you go up, there's a guy there that you can pay for your ride. Also, the place tells you about it's history and how it's the oldest rail incline in the country! Once you're up there, the views are amazing! I was able to see a beautiful sunset!!
